have cat food and tons of toys.

We agree, Rose. Humans should stay home with us all the time. Our mom used to go away all day but now she says she's "retired" and can stay home with us. Yay!
Our Mum has been retired for quite a while now and we are lucky as she is always about to give us snuggles and cuddles and remind her we're hungry.
In a way, you may be lucky, Rose - when my human's boyfriend goes away, it's for days and sometimes a couple of weeks! He does something called music and apparently it requires a lot of time away.
We love when our Dad comes home, too! Sometimes, we make sure we get our furs all over his clothes so it's like he's taking us to work with him!
Sorry he has to leave you during the day :(
True, he is getting moneys ta buy yer food... So cuddle on hin when he is around...
